IT Infra­structure

Generally, IT infrastructure describes all material and immaterial assets and goods that enable the operation of software applications. Amongst others this includes software and services that are being used by users.

Infra­structure for software development

In software development the infrastructure therefore includes all tools and services that users/developers use to develop software. That includes locally installed software as well as web applications and of course higher-level systems that enable to operation of the organization.
