Cloudogu with comprehensive GitOps offers
Cloudogu GmbH has put together a wide range of offers for developers and companies who would like to get started with GitOps or who would like further training in this field. It includes training courses, a GitOps test environment, an e-book and a community.
Software development has accelerated even further in recent years, and the demands on the transformability of software and its infrastructure are increasing. GitOps responds to this challenge by allowing processes to be made more efficiently and accelerate them. Especially in the environment of Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies, GitOps is increasingly establishing itself for automated operation.
Cloudogu offers numerous services for companies and developers who want to get started with GitOps or expand their knowledge: The two-day GitOps training courses are aimed at software developers with initial Kubernetes experience. They receive all the necessary theoretical basics and learn the practical implementation of GitOps. The common tools are introduced and a complete GitOps process with CI server, templating, staging environment and more is implemented together. Everyday challenges such as error handling, observability and deletion of resources are also part of the training.
The GitOps training courses will take place online on 26-27 April, 11-12 October and 06-07 December 2022, registration as well as further information can be found here. It can also be booked as an individual in-house training.
The GitOps Playground is available on GitHub. In this test environment, interested parties can try out GitOps tools (operators) in a real infrastructure. All that is needed is to clone the repository and run the Playground locally.
The free E-Book “GitOps - Principles and Challenges” is available for download here (in German). It offers decision-makers and team leaders who are faced with the decision for or against the use of GitOps in the company helpful information as a basis for decision-making.
The Community collects resources on the topic of GitOps. Software developers and all those interested in GitOps can exchange information there.
