10 years of Cloudogu – our summer event 2024
Sunshine, high spirits and the best colleagues
Dear readers, this year, we again celebrated our summer event with our colleagues – and it was wonderful. We celebrated another milestone with the biggest summer event in Cloudogu history; a fitting setting for the 10th anniversary!
This year, Cloudogu celebrated its 10th anniversary. A lot has happened during this time and Cloudogu has established itself very well. We can look back on an exciting time in which many challenges were tackled and successfully mastered. We at Cloudogu now have over 70 colleagues who contribute to the success of our company every day. Starting with the SCM-Manager, we have tapped into further areas and steadily expanded our portfolio. We are looking positively into the future and are looking forward to the upcoming opportunities and challenges. We are driven by the desire to continue our success story with our colleagues and to shape the next few years as a learning organization that is mission-oriented, collaborative and agile.
We found a fantastic location in the form of the westand in Braunschweig’s Weststadt district, and on the day of the event, our colleagues agreed: the westand is a first-class choice! The location was decorated with matching decorations down to the last detail and perfectly prepared for young and old.
This year, we invited the entire Cloudogu family again. We were thrilled to see so many of our colleagues’ children at our summer party. There were numerous activities for the little ones, with highlights including a photo booth, a bouncy castle and a small train track with an electric locomotive. Helpers were hired to supervise the children so that their parents didn’t have to worry about them – a great event for the whole family!
The summer party began at 4 p.m. and colleagues were greeted by live music and one of the managing directors, Thomas, who was at the cotton candy machine, . Those who were less in the mood for cotton candy could enjoy a delicious ice cream in the sunny weather. But first, it was time to arrive, have the first conversations and chase after the children who were trying out the wide range of play options.
Before lunch, our three managing directors gave a short speech. The guests listened with great interest and one or two interesting facts about our company were shared with the colleagues. For example, they explained how the name Cloudogu was created. Statistics fans also got their money’s worth when Thomas presented some interesting figures. For example, he showed how many “Cloudogu children” have been added since 2014. The speech contained many facts, some of which were previously unknown. Afterwards, our managing directors opened the buffet.
Thanks to the great organization by the westand, the process of getting to the diverse buffet went smoothly and nobody had to wait long. After everyone was full and satisfied, DJ Harry got started. He provided background music and created a great atmosphere for the party. Due to the excellent weather, a lot of the post-dinner activities took place outside in the westand’s outdoor area. Interesting conversations were held among colleagues and one or two cold drinks were enjoyed, in keeping with the weather. Overall, it was a very inviting, exuberant atmosphere and a great event for all guests.
The evening flew by. Shortly after midnight, the last colleagues set off together on their way home.
We hope that everyone will remember this wonderful evening for a long time. We are already looking forward to the upcoming events!
